At Vimo Swim, we believe that privacy is a fundamental right. Vimo FIT Stitch is designed with a privacy-first approach: it merges and repairs your activity files entirely on your own machine. This policy explains what data the app handles and how we protect your information.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Vimo FIT Stitch stores the following data locally, on your own device:

Source Files: The FIT files you drop into the app. They are read in place and never modified.
Stitched Output: The merged file the app produces, written to the location you pick.
App Preferences: Your default output folder and gap-handling choice.

This data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share it.

2a. Your Files Never Leave Your Machine

Vimo FIT Stitch does the whole job locally: parsing, merging, repairing and writing. There is no upload step, no account, and no server that ever sees your activity data. The app works with no network connection at all.

Stitching always writes a new file. Your original recordings are opened read-only and left untouched, so a bad merge costs you nothing but the time to try again.

3. Data We May Collect

To improve our products, we may collect anonymous, aggregated diagnostic data such as:

Crash reports and error logs, if you opt in (to fix bugs)
Application version and operating system, attached to those reports (for compatibility)

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally. You can opt out of analytics in the app settings.

4. Children's Privacy

Vimo FIT Stitch does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed to be safe for users of all ages, and parental guidance is recommended for younger users.

5. Third-Party Services

Vimo FIT Stitch may use the following third-party services:

Direct download from vimoswim.com, and platform app stores where available
Crash reporting, to identify and fix issues (anonymized data only).

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking services.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. Any data stored on your device is protected by your device's built-in security features, and communication with your Vimo Swim device stays on a direct, local link.

7. Your Rights

Because Vimo FIT Stitch keeps your data on your own device, you remain in control of it at all times: you can delete it from within the app, or by uninstalling the app. If you believe we hold any personal data about you, you can ask us to access, correct or erase it using the contact details below.
