The First Batch of 100 numbered devices ships in three waves: 20 are already with testers, 30 are shipping now and the last 50 follow by the end of 2026. The next batch of 500 devices comes after January 2027. We confirm the retail date before orders open.
You do not have to wait for that date to swim with Vimo. The testing program is open now, and testers get their device long before the public launch.
The retail price is not announced yet. We set it once the first batches are done and we know the real production cost.
What you can do today is join the testing program. You reserve a numbered device for a fully refundable deposit of €180 (about 780 zł), VAT included. Return the device inside the 30-day test window and you get the full amount back.
If you keep the device, the deposit is credited toward the purchase price and the invoice is issued at that point. For First Batch testers the final price will never be higher than the deposit already paid, VAT included.
Then keep it. There is nothing to do and nothing to sign: the device simply stays with you and waits for retail availability, which follows the First Batch.

No. Vimo Connect is free on Google Play and the App Store, there is no subscription, and every feature the device has today works at no extra cost.
Advanced modules are the exception, and they are a long way out: an online drills library, Garmin Connect integration and AI training analysis may arrive as paid add-ons, at the earliest late in 2027. What the device does now stays free.
Firmware updates reach the device wirelessly over Bluetooth, through Vimo Connect, free of charge.
During the test phase the device deliberately ships with a reduced feature set, so we can put the whole update pipeline through its paces on a large group in real pool conditions. First Batch testers get the early firmware and priority support.
They land on the device you already have, as free software updates. None of them need different hardware.
Q4 2026 starts the motion sensor phase, turn counting first.
The device is built to grow through software, and the First Batch keeps receiving those updates.
