These details are collected solely for the purposes of user contact and for providing the services offered by the Controller.

- Communicating with website users regarding inquiries or issues
- Offering and fulfilling our services
Data processing is based on the user's consent to process their personal data.
4. Sharing Personal Data
User data is not shared with third parties unless necessary to fulfill the intended purpose (e.g., IT service providers such as payment gateways) or as required by law.
5. User Rights

6. Data Retention Period
Personal data is retained for the duration necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and as required by applicable law.
7. Garmin Connect
If you connect your Garmin Connect account in your Vimo Swim account, we receive your activity summaries and the swim's FIT file from Garmin Connect through the Garmin Connect Developer Program API. We use this data for one purpose: to show you your own swims in your account. The Vimo tempo values recorded by the Vimo Swim data field are read from the FIT file and shown next to your swim.
Garmin data is never sold and never shared with anyone for their own use. The following providers process it on our behalf:
- DigitalOcean, which hosts the servers where the data is stored
- Sentry, our error monitoring service, which may receive technical details of a failure but never your swim data
No AI system processes your Garmin data in this feature, and no Garmin data is used to train or improve AI models.
You can disconnect at any time with the "Disconnect Garmin" button in My swims. This removes the connection and the access tokens. The swims we already synced stay in your Vimo account, so you keep the history of your activities. You can also revoke our access in your Garmin Connect account settings. To delete your synced swims, to access, export or correct this data, or to withdraw consent, write to contact@vimoswim.com.
8. Security Measures
The Controller implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data, including protection against accidental loss, destruction, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. The current version will be published on our website.
