Important Safety Instructions
Read this before you take your Vimo Swim device into the water.
Prototype: not for sale
The device you are testing is a prototype / evaluation unit provided solely for testing and assessment. It is not a finished product for sale, it is undergoing the CE conformity assessment procedure (including Directive RED 2014/53/EU) and it does not yet bear the CE marking.
Waterproof IP68
Made for the water. Rinse it with fresh water after chlorine or salt, and keep it out of anything hotter than +40 °C.
Never open the case
The housing is hermetically sealed and holds no user-serviceable parts. Opening it voids the seal and the warranty.
Charge with the supplied kit
Use only the cable and charger supplied or recommended by us, and unplug the charger once charging is done.
Built-in lithium battery
Keep it away from fire, high temperature, crushing and cutting. Never bin the device with household waste.

- The device is waterproof to rating IP68 and intended for use in water. After use in chlorinated or salt water, rinse it with clean fresh water. Do not immerse it in water hotter than +40 °C, and do not use it in saunas or hot springs.
- Clean only with clean water and a soft cloth. Do not use solvents, alcohol or abrasives.
- Do not attempt to open or disassemble the housing: the device is hermetically sealed. Opening it voids the seal and the warranty.
- Do not expose the device to prolonged high temperature, direct sunlight or hot surfaces. This also applies to the battery.
- Charge only with the cable and charger supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.
- Disconnect the charger after charging and during extended periods of non-use.
- The device contains no user-serviceable parts and must not be opened. In case of damage, unusual water ingress, dropping or malfunction, return the device to the manufacturer (see the details below, or write to us via vimoswim.com/contact). Do not attempt to repair it yourself: doing so voids the seal and the warranty.
- WARNING: the device contains a built-in lithium battery. Do not expose it to fire, high temperature (for example sunlight), crushing or cutting. Doing so may cause explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- Do not dispose of the device or the battery with household waste. Hand it in at a WEEE collection point in accordance with local regulations.
- This device is a prototype / evaluation unit provided solely for testing and assessment. It is not a finished product for sale. The device is undergoing the CE conformity assessment procedure (including Directive RED 2014/53/EU) and does not yet bear the CE marking. It may not be resold or passed on to third parties. It contains a short-range Bluetooth Low Energy transmitter (2.4 GHz band).
- Rated operating temperature: −20 °C to +80 °C.
