Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

This is the fastest way and takes effect immediately:

1. Open Vimo Connect on your phone and sign in.
2. Open Settings.
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm when the app asks you to.

Your account and its data are deleted straight away. The action cannot be undone.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in or no longer have the app installed, email us instead:

• Send a message to support@vimoswim.com
• Use the subject line Data deletion request.
• Send it from the email address associated with your Vimo Connect account, so we can verify the request.

We confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all account data we hold about you:

• Your email address
• Your name, if you provided one or it came from Google or Apple sign-in
• Your authentication identifiers and, for password accounts, your hashed password
• Your account creation and last-used timestamps

What is kept, and for how long

• Encrypted backups: copies of account data can persist in our encrypted backups for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten. They are not used for any other purpose.
• Support correspondence: if you emailed us, that correspondence is kept for up to 12 months so we can follow up on your request, then deleted.
• Nothing else. Vimo Connect contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDK, so there is no usage or tracking data to keep.

Data stored on your phone

Your training programs, training history, app preferences and device pairing data are stored only on your own device - we never receive them and cannot delete them for you. To remove them, uninstall Vimo Connect or clear the app's storage in your phone's system settings.
