1. Introduction

At Vimo Swim, we believe that privacy is a fundamental right. Vimo Coach is designed with a privacy-first approach: it controls the Vimo Swim devices in front of you directly over Bluetooth, without accounts for you or for the swimmers you coach. This policy explains what data the app handles and how we protect your information.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Vimo Coach stores the following data locally, on your own device:

• Paired Devices: The Vimo Swim devices you have connected to, so the app can find them again at the next session.
• Group Setup: Any names or labels you give devices and groups to keep track of who is on which unit.
• Training Programs: The interval programs you push to the group.
• App Preferences: Your settings and interface preferences.

This data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share it.

2a. Bluetooth and Your Group

Vimo Coach uses Bluetooth Low Energy to discover and control the Vimo Swim devices around you. Every command — start, stop, tempo change, program switch, firmware update — travels directly from your phone to the devices. Nothing passes through our servers.

The app does not create accounts for the swimmers in your group and does not ask for their names, ages or contact details. Any labels you attach to a device are yours, stored on your phone, and never uploaded. If you delete the app, they go with it.

3. Data We May Collect

To improve our products, we may collect anonymous, aggregated diagnostic data such as:

• Crash reports and error logs (to fix bugs)
• Anonymous feature usage counts (to see what is worth improving)
• Device model and operating system version (for compatibility)

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally. You can opt out of analytics in the app settings.

4. Children's Privacy

Vimo Coach does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed to be safe for users of all ages, and parental guidance is recommended for younger users.

5. Third-Party Services

Vimo Coach may use the following third-party services:

• App Store / Google Play: app distribution and updates
• Crash reporting, to identify and fix issues (anonymized data only).

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking services.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. Any data stored on your device is protected by your device's built-in security features, and communication with your Vimo Swim device stays on a direct, local link.

7. Your Rights

Because Vimo Coach keeps your data on your own device, you remain in control of it at all times: you can delete it from within the app, or by uninstalling the app. If you believe we hold any personal data about you, you can ask us to access, correct or erase it using the contact details below.

8. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected in the application and on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
